What can I say? We all have a toilet brush in our bathrooms and if there is no room under the cabinets; where the heck can you store the icky thing in an inconspicuous way? I don’t think any toilet brush holder really disguises what it is, but there are some attractive options to get that brush out of sight. You can hang it from the side of the tank on a little hook but it’s not too attractive.
If you have a small bathroom, you may want to consider a wall mounted toilet brush holder. The less you have on the floor, the easier it is to clean. They come in a lot of styles. I saw an antique brass and white glass model that would be beautiful in a bath with period décor. If your bathroom is very modern, the stainless steel or brushed nickel options look sleek.
Some of us have theme bathrooms. You know who you are. There are resin toilet brush holders with cats, dogs, horses, and all kinds of other cute animals to disguise your toilet brush. I am not making fun. I have one bathroom that is horse themed. My husband was a horse trainer for years and we both love horses. When we first were married he bought everything he could find for the bathroom with horses from a fancy bath shop. I still don’t allow anyone to actually use the beautiful towels and the shower ensemble has traveled all over the country with us. I may just have to order that toilet brush holder with the horses.
If you have a very fancy bathroom, you can get a toilet brush holder plated in 24 carat gold. I think it gives unnecessary attention to the toilet brush, but if that’s your taste, go for it. The chrome ones would also do quite nicely. I found a china chamber pot at a flea market and it holds the toilet brush in one of our bathrooms.
If you want a toilet brush holder that is a conversation piece there is one available that looks like a skull and the brush handle is a large bone. I could see using it for Halloween, but I don’t think I would want to look at it your all year long. I was amazed to see all the unique ones that are on the market. If a fancy toilet brush holder isn’t on your must have list; just go to K-mart and get a plastic one. They do come in a couple of different colors.
